it's mean "How do you do!"
or "I'm glad to see you"
but since as a noun,
it also means
"glad" or "happiness"
So, "I'm glad to see you"
maybe is the best translation

ピアチェーレはイタリア語で
意味は、「はじめまして！」や
「お会いできて嬉しいです！」だよ。

英語でいうと
「How do you do」とか
「I'm glad to see you.」
かもしれない
でもピアチェーレはそのままで
「喜び」や「楽しみ」
という名詞の意味も
持ってるからだそうだ。
